A UNR student studying abroad has tested positive for COVID-19. School officials announced on Friday that the student has not returned to the campus and has now traveled directly home. Medical providers are monitoring that students condition while they are isolated at home. UNR campus officials released a statement saying that there are no students or staff that have tested positive locally for the virus. But remind us that it’s possible for anyone of any age get it and urged everyone to follow local directives to mitigate the spread of coronavirus.
