The “Major Disaster Declaration” for the state of Nevada, submitted to the President by Governor Sisolak, has been approved. The declaration provides additional federal assistance as well as emergency protective measures available under the nationwide emergency proclamation. The 41-page document requests public assistance funding and individual assistance programs, together with crisis counseling and training programs and mass care and emergency assistance to help support Nevada residents.
