Two more people have died from COVID-19 in the state of Nevada. The two additional deaths bring the state total to 120. The number of confirmed cases also rose to 2,971. Washoe County reported 39 additional positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 500.

Carson City has one new case of COVID-19. The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center said the patient is a man in his 60s. This brings the total number of cases in the Quad-County region to 43, with 11 recoveries. Thirty-two cases remain active. Officials said one Quad-County resident is currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
