The Food Bank of Northern Nevada announced Monday that an additional 4 locations have been added to the schedule for its Kids Cafe program. There are now 24 locations for parents to pick up grab-and-go style packages breakfasts and lunches for children. Parents are encouraged to go to the same site each week to receive the meals. Distributions will be on a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday schedule. Children will receive three days’ worth of meals at a time, including one breakfast and one lunch per day. Meals are being served either in drive-thru or walk-up method, allowing meals to be taken home for consumption. Parents are encouraged to have the child present or have a student ID card when picking up meals.
