Governor Steve Sisolak says Nevada is joining the western states pact, and says he believes sharing information about Covid 19, and joining the “best practices” to keep people safe, is the right thing to do. The pact includes Washington, Oregon Colorado and California. The governor says the guiding principal is the health of Nevada residents comes first. He suggests opening things up too early could lead to another spike in infections and set everything back for months. A consistent drop in COVID-19 hospitalizations over a 14-day period is one the Governors major criterion for reopening.
