Governor Announces Phase One of Reopening

Governor Steve Sisolak says Nevada will enter Phase 1 of reopening the state Saturday. Restaurants can open if workers wear masks and operate with 50% capacity and six-foot distancing. Face coverings for patrons are encouraged. Barbershops, hair salons and nail salons may reopen under strict social distancing requirements and with masks. Unless there are partitions already, guests can only sit in every other chair with six feet of distance. Retail businesses may reopen under 50% occupancy, that now includes supermarkets and big box stores. Bars, gyms, brothels, sporting event venues, and gaming establishments will not reopen in Phase 1. Some businesses can operate on appointment only.
