Reno City Council unanimously rejected a proposal to annex more than 1,000 acres along Evans Creek, the area known as Ballardini Ranch. The Council’s main concern is the fire danger in the area and a lack of fire road access. The Council Members also expressed concerns about why the proposal was put forth when there are no specific development plans for the area.
