Three Suspected Rioters Arrested by Reno Police

Three suspected rioters are being charged with throwing rocks at the Reno police station and parked police cars, tagging the station with anti-police graffiti, and removing and burning the American flag on Saturday. A group of rioters also forced their way into Reno City Hall and set fires and looted. The Northern Nevada Regional Intelligence Center, the Regional Gang Unit, Regional Crime Suppression Team and Regional Narcotics Units, consisting of detectives and crime analysts from all three law enforcement agencies immediately began efforts to identify the individuals responsible. The suspects are 25-year-old Leonel Jimenez, 28-year-old Ekepati Taua, and a 17 year old. Detectives have also identified additional responsible individuals and are in the process of locating them.
