The street protests were about the death of George Floyd, but Reno Police and Sparks Police found themselves on the wrong side of public comment at the Reno City Council Meeting. Speakers called for independent review boards to look into the use of force. Some speakers urged the council to direct funds away from police, and to efforts that can help people who are struggling.
