The Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center says the ‘Kohls Fire’ off Pyramid Highway near Disc Drive has been controlled at 18 acres. There’s still no word on what caused the blaze. Crews from Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the Sparks Fire Department and the Bureau of Land Management responded. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office RAVEN helicopter also assisted in the fight.
