Nevada Governor Signing Directive Making Masks Mandatory in Public

Governor Steve Sisolak announced Wednesday that face coverings will be mandatory for all people in all public places beginning Friday. During a news conference yesterday, the governor said public places include restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation and other businesses.

The only exceptions include: those with medical conditions that have troubles breathing, those with disabilities that don’t allow wearing a face covering and children between ages 2 and 9. Sisolak encourages businesses to ask patrons to leave if they are not following face covering rules.
