Crews are responding to a fire on Mount Rose, which was first first reported at 3:30 Sunday afternoon near Winters Creek. Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest says fire crews have been on scene all night to contain the fire. Aircrafts are expected to return today and fight the fire from the air. The fire remains at zero percent containment but is holding at one acre. Mt. Rose Highway is now back open in both directions. Drivers are asked to drive carefully as fire crews remain in the area.
