The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says the North Fire is now estimated to be 6,593 acres and is 10 percent contained. Traffic controls have been lifted on U.S. 395 and Red Rock Road in both directions. TMFPD says evacuations have been lifted for Red Rock, Rancho Haven residents. Officials advise livestock and large animals should stay evacuated until this afternoon. The nearby South and Shoe Tree Fires are under control at 4.9 acres and 3.7 acres, respectively.
