Nevada Governor Shares Updated COVID-19 Mitigation Plan

Governor Steve Sisolak gave Nevadans new details Monday evening of what he called Nevada’s long-term strategy to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Under the new plan, the COVID-19 response task force will review data to determine which counties are seeing an increase or decrease in risk. They will then determine the root cause of the spread and come up with an action plan to address it. He said there won’t be a change in how bars, clubs, and taverns are affected.

The governor reiterated, if Nevadans continue to wear face coverings, and practice aggressive social distancing, we should see improvement in the number of infections and deaths due to COVID-19.
