Containment was achieved Saturday in the North Fire, burning 2 miles north of Hallelujah Junction. The fire has burned 6,882 acres, prompting evacuations on August 3rd. On Saturday, crews finished removing equipment & securing the fire area. At this time, no evacuations or closures are associated with the blaze and Highway 395 is open through the area.
