There’s a positive case of the “Plague” in South Lake Tahoe. According to Eldorado County the resident is recieving medical care and is recovering at home. They believe the person who is an active dog walker was bitten by an infected flea along the Truckee River Cooridor north of U.S. 50 or in the Tahoe Keys area. The plague is a bacterial infection, and can be treated with antibiotics
