Nevada Public Lands Day is Saturday

Nevada Public Lands Day is Saturday, September 26th, and you can get into all of Nevada’s State Parks for free. Park fees, including entrance costs, camping on Saturday night, and boating, are waived for the day. Jenny Ramella with Nevada State Parks talks about a roadtrip around an hour and half from Reno that you should check out, Walker River State Recreation Area near Yerington.

The park features bike trails, campsites, RV Hookups, and a visitor center. Find more state parks in Nevada at parks.nv.gov.
