A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Sparks on Wednesday morning. Police responded to the area of Pyramid Highway and Roberta Lane shortly before 9 a.m. on the report of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash. Officers determined the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Pyramid Highway when a black SUV turning westbound on Roberta Lane hit the motorcyclist. The 23-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
