The Nevada COVID-19 Task Force has voted to approve a new mitigation plan for Washoe County to combat increasing COVID-19 trends in the county. The plan does not include any business closures. Instead, gatherings will be capped at 50, a reduction from the gatherings of 250 that had previously been allowed. Washoe County has also agreed to increase testing and more enforcement of COVID restrictions. The County is also implementing a plan to better communicate with county residents what they need to do to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
