Investigators Looking For Pinehaven Fire Witnesses

Reno Fire is asking the public for help in the investigation of the Pinehaven Fire that started Tuesday around 1 p.m. A regional fire investigation team has processed the hillside and found where the fire ignited. Tray Palmer, Fire Marshal for the Reno Fire Department, says it may take up to a week before they can be definite on a cause, but at this time they can say that they found nothing to show the fire began maliciously. RFD wants anyone who saw anything that day between noon and 1 p.m. to call them at 334-2300. All roads in the area that were previously closed have also reopened.
