WCSD Moving All Middle & High School Students to Distance Learning

The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees voted 5 to 1 to approve moving secondary schools to full distance learning at its meeting yesterday. The temporary change will go into effect on December 2 and students will return to in-person learning on January 4. The board of trustees will review the proposed dates to finalize them at its December 8 meeting. The board also voted 5 to 1 in favor of keeping elementary schools on the in-person learning model.
