More details have been released on an officer involved shooting Wednesday around midnight on Victorian Ave. Sparks police were called to a disturbance involving a person in a parking lot who was waving a knife in the air. The suspect drove off when officers arrived, and ran several red lights while fleeing northbound on Pyramid Way. The driver stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Pyramid Way and McCarran Blvd and got out with a gun, which was pointed at the officers. Two Sparks Police Officers shot the suspect.
