Using federal coronavirus funding, the cities of Reno and Sparks are partnering with Walgreens to offer residents free COVID-19 testing. The testing is conducted in a drive-thru operation, so you can remain in your car. Children 3 and older can be tested if a parent or guardian is present. Testing capacity is limited, so you must make an appointment that can be scheduled up to three days in advance. Residents can make an online appointment at Walgreens.com/COVID19testing. Testing is available at eight local Walgreens locations in Reno and Sparks.
