The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office announced voluntary evacuations for the Topaz Ranch Estates and Topaz Lake areas in southern Douglas County. Smith Valley High School at 20 Day Lane in Smith is now serving as an evacuation center. Livestock can be taken to Dresslerville Park off Nevada 208. The Topaz Ranch Estates evacuation center has been closed by the Tamarack Fire. U.S. 395 is now closed from China Springs Road in Douglas County to California 89 in Mono County.
