All students and school staff in Washoe County will be required to wear masks indoors to start the school year. The school board approved the plan at its meeting last night, following public comment from parents. The board’s decision is in line with recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Governor Sisolak. Other mitigation efforts will include hand washing, temperature checks, and enhanced cleaning protocols.
