Gov. Steve Sisolak says operators of large-venue events can allow attendees to go maskless. But first their ticket holders must prove they are fully vaccinated. Or they can have big events with everyone masked, regardless of vaccination status. The Governor says he hopes this will convince more people to join the fight against the virus.

The Governor says this gives private businesses some choices, as well as the opportunity to lead. Nevada was the first to reinstate indoor masking in areas of substantial and high transmission regardless of vaccination status, and the Governor says we are now seeing a slowing of COVID-19 growth.
