A man’s body was pulled from the Truckee River east of Sparks Wednesday afternoon. The body was spotted in the water near Mustang by someone fishing. Members of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue team responded alongside multiple agencies to pull the man from the river. Officials with the sheriff’s office said the man’s body had been in the river for some time. The man has not yet been identified.
