Detectives arrested a Sparks man for possession of child pornography and a probation violation. 22-year-old Shane Lynch is a Tier II sex offender, sentenced for possession of child pornography in December of 2020. He is a registered sex offender and was on probation when he was arrested. Sparks Police detectives with the Northern Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant of Lynch’s devices, where they found illegal materials.
