A pedestrian seriously injured in a hit-and-run Friday in west Sparks was not in a crosswalk and was pushing a shopping cart. Sparks police released a statement saying they are still looking for the driver in the crash on Battle Born Way underneath Interstate 80. Police described the vehicle as black or dark-colored with two doors and front-end damage.
