The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says ended up in a standoff with a suspect for several hours Sunday in Sun Valley. Sidrick Romero was wanted for an outstanding Federal warrant. When deputies made contact, he fled. Deputies were able to track him to a home on Slope Drive where he was arrested after several hours of negotiations. The SWAT team and Hostage Negotiation team was activated.
