Northern Nevada Congressman Mark Amodei says he will not join the crowded field for the republican nomination for Governor. Congressman Mark Amodei will run for re-election to a seat he’s held since 2011. Amodei talked about it on KOH’s Dan Mason Show, suggesting he is still needed in Washington.

The field for governor includes former Sen. Dean Heller, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee, and others. Amodei says he was hesitant to join a campaign in which “everybody just tries to bash their way to victory.”
