Wilber Martinez Guzman appeared in Douglas County District Court Tuesday afternoon and plead guilty to the murders of two Gardnerville women. Guzman was charged with the January 2019 murders of Connie Koontz and Sophia Renken in Douglas County. Last month he plead guilty to Washoe County murder charges for the murders of Sherri & Jerry David. Guzman is also expected to enter guilty pleas to several property crimes.
