Two people were taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Sparks. Police are now looking for the hit-and-run driver. It happened just before 11:30 at G Street and El Rancho Drive. Police say an older model gray four-door vehicle was heading west on G Street when the driver hit two people in the crosswalk. The driver continued west. When police arrived, they found a woman on the ground with life-threatening injuries. The man with her suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say the vehicle should have front-end damage. Anyone who has information is asked to contact Sparks Police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
