One man arrested after a five hour standoff with local law enforcement. It happened around 7:30 Thursday night on Sunshine Drive in Reno. The NHP says a driver pulled over for speeding started to act aggressively. He then pulled out a gun and refused to get out of the vehicle. Reno Police were called in to assist and say the man was threatening to kill himself. Officers negotiated with the suspect for a few hours, he finally gave up peacefully around 12:30 Friday morning. He’s been booked into the Washoe County Jail. His name has not been released.
