Federal Judge in Reno Will Not Stop Wild Horse Roundup

A Reno Federal Judge will not stop the round up of wild horses in Eastern Nevada, despite claims by wil horse advocates that the federal government is needlessly and recklessly killing wild horses. Judge Miranda Du said she rejected an injunction, because the charges made by advocates were unlikely to succeed on the merits of the claims. BLM says it needs to get the round-up’s done before the end of February, and that the herds are suffering under extreme drought conditions.
