The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a man involved in a gas theft. The sheriff’s office released a photograph of the man they say was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe used in the theft. On March 17th, a woman was eating lunch inside her van parked in the Lowe’s parking lot on Fairview Drive, when she heard drilling. She got out and found two vehicles parked on either side of her van and saw several people were standing at the back. The group fled when they realized she was in the car. They left in a dark Chevrolet Tahoe and a gray Ford F-150. It turns out they had drilled a hole in the gas tank and were draining fuel into a bucket.
