One person died and two structures were destroyed after a fire in Panther Valley Thursday afternoon. The Reno Fire Department says the fire was first reported at the Ranger Road Mobile Home Park just before 2 p.m. The name of the person who died in the fire has not been released, a dog in one of the mobile homes also did not survive. The fire destroyed two mobile homes, and the cause in under investigation.
