The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating an arson incident at a construction site on Goni Road. Investigators say sometime over the weekend, someone entered the Cinderlite gravel pit site and started a fire. According to the sheriff’s office, heavy construction equipment was tampered with, and one piece of equipment was set on fire. The damage reportedly amounts to around $25,000. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
