Two people were rescued from Lake Tahoe over the Memorial Day Weekend. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at Sand Harbor. They say the two people were in kayaks that overturned due to the high winds and rough water. Both people were clinging to rocks when rescue crews reached them. Both people showed signs of hypothermia and received medical treatment.
