A man is in custody, accused of stealing an SUV from the parking lot of a CVS on South Virginia Monday afternoon. Two children ages eight months and two years old were inside the vehicle when it was taken. The children had been left inside the idling vehicle while their mother went inside the store. The vehicle was tracked to Carson City, where Jason Day was booked on charges including Grand Theft Auto, Kidnapping and Child Endangerment. Day left the children at a nearby Holiday Inn. They were found safe and were not injured.
