A 17 year old boy suffered potentially life threatening injuries Monday, in a hit and run crash that happened about 7:30 A.M. on West Seventh Street and Sapphire Ridge Way. The driver fled the scene failing to stop and provide medical aid or call for assistance. The young man was hit while in a crosswalk. Officers located the driver several blocks away. 40 year old Holli Lee McCarty of Reno was arrested for Felony Hit and Run causing substantial bodily injury, Failure to Render Aid and Driving without a valid license.
