One was was killed in a shooting in Reno on Sunday. Police were called to First Street & Lincoln Alley on a report of a shooting just before 4:30 in the afternoon. When they arrived they found one man with gunshot wounds. Life saving measures were attempted by the Reno Fire Department, but the man died at the scene. A second victim suffered minor injuries from possible bullet fragments. The suspected shooter, 27-year-old Nicholas Nevarez, remained at the scene and was arrested for murder with a deadly weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon. The name of the victim has not been released.
