Reno Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 25 Years

A Reno man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for drug trafficking and felony eluding. 31-year-old Lonnie Wayne Rogers of Reno plead guilty in August to one count of trafficking methamphetamine and heroin, when he was found with 225 grams of methamphetamine and 119 grams of heroin. He also pled guilty to felony eluding. That’s because he attempted to escape arrest by initiating a high speed chase before crashing his car and surrendering.
