A local man is behind bars after a woman was found shot to death in south Reno Sunday morning. Around 5:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of an injured woman in the 8000 block of Offenhauser Dr. The victim was transported to Renown Medical Center where she was pronounced dead as a result of a gunshot wound. Police say the suspect was found in the 1600 block of Iron Mountain Dr and jumped a fence in an attempt to flee. 27-year-old Fabian Zeragoza-Martinez was arrested in the 10000 block of Coyote Creek Dr. He has been charged Open Murder With A Deadly Weapon. The victim’s name has not been released.
