One person was killed after being hit by a car near Fallon last night. Nevada State Police say the crash happened on U.S. 50 near Roberson Road around 6:15. A preliminary investigation says a pickup truck struck a pedestrian who was walking in the number two travel lane on U.S. 50. Their name has not been released. Impairment is not suspected in the crash.
