A police officer is in a local hospital after being shot in West Reno. It happened at an apartment complex on Sky Valley Drive around 7:30 Sunday night. Reno Police officers initially reported to the area on a “trouble unknown” call. Investigators have not yet released what led to the shooting, but two suspects were involved. One of the suspects and the officer injured in the shooting were transported to a nearby hospital where their conditions are unknown at this time. Reno Police, SWAT, and The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office were all on scene.
