Carson City Sheriff’s Office Releases Picture of Truck Involved in Hit And Run

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is working to identify a vehicle and a driver in a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian. The truck is described as a red or dark red four door truck, possibly a Dodge Ram. The crash happened Tuesday night, near the intersection of Saliman Road and William Street just before 8pm. A pedestrian was walking with their bicycle in front of Carson High School when they were hit. They were in the travel lane, because snow was blocking the bike lane and sidewalk. They were struck by the pickup from behind.The pedestrian went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
