The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Sun Valley man Saturday on suspicion of open murder in the death of his roommate. 29-year-old Billy Orth, is being held without bail in the Washoe County jail. The sheriff’s office responded to the 4600 block of East Leonisio Drive in South Sun Valley at about 7 p.m. on a report of a shooting. Deputies arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later was pronounced dead. The sheriff’s office did not disclose the name of the deceased.
