[KOH] – Two northern Nevada high school robotics team came home with the top hardware from the Nevada State Championship on Saturday.
The VC Silver Circuits from Virginia City won the overall Inspire Award in Nevada’s FIRST Tech Challenge for the second year in a row, and also swept the finals of the robot game for the second time in four years. For the first time ever, all teams in the finals came from northern Nevada or California.
Incognito, a community team with members from the Davidson Academy, took second-place in the Inspire competition. They’ve been first or second in Inspire for the last seven years.
Both teams advance to the World Championship in Houston, April 19-22nd. They’re looking for assistance to fund their travel. If you can help, contact [email protected].
