An officer-involved shooting in the Virginia City Highlands Tuesday afternoon sends the suspect to the hospital. It all began around 3 off Mira Loma Drive in Reno when officers tried to get the suspect on a weapons warrant. Instead of stopping, the suspect rammed several police cars and fled up into the highlands, where he was stopped off Cartwright. That’s when, authorities say, the shooting went down.
